Here we are folks, another month, another update, and another chance for God to prove himself faithful and good! It has been a fantastic past few months being married and growing closer as a couple. In fact, we have learned what seems like quite a bit about each other (You that have been married for at least a few years will probably be laughing at us). One of the ways we have gotten to know each other more is by learning each other’s primary love languages.
For those of you unfamiliar with the love languages concept, there are basically five different ways that each of us feel loved. Those five ways are: Words of Affirmation, Acts of Service, Receiving Gifts, Quality Time, and Physical Touch. If you are curious what each of the love languages mean or to see what your language is, you can hop on over to Dr. Gary Chapman’s website (the author of the book) at: http://www.5lovelanguages.com/. Clever website name I know.
All this talk about love languages reminds me that I have to wrap up this update pretty quick. Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and I have some work to do if I plan on sleeping anywhere but the couch. Before I do, I have one final piece of update goodness for you and I’ve saved the best for last!
Kate and I are pleased to announce the addition of the newest member to the Fisher Missions’ Team………
Drum Roll Please…….
Baby Fisher will be with us in August and will come packed and ready to hit the ground running!! Or crawling…. We may start there first. My Beautiful Wife and I are both extremely excited to see Baby Fisher come August and to see what God has in store for his/her life. Plus I, for one, am looking forward to doing all the things that children and Dads get to do that may land us all in the dog house with the Mamma.
Alright that’s all I have for you this time around. Stay tuned for more of what God has in store for the two person team, no, make that the three person team of Fisher Missions!
