Hello friends! We have just come off of a VERY busy summer and are coming into a nice poze fall (Poze means resting or relaxed in Creole) Here is a quick update on everything we have mentioned recently!
DTS has been going very well! They have been very busy with class and helping with one of the dance camps, and are currently fundraising and preparing for outreach! This week they are learning all of the dramas and dances they will be doing on outreach, and next week they learn about how to put together a message or bible study to present to those they are ministering to. This year the DTS will be doing outreach here in Haiti aaandddd..... Argentina!
Here is a quick video on what they will be doing, and how you can donate! (As of this moment, they are halfway to their goal!)
Jay will not be joining the team on outreach because we will be heading back to the states soon, but we are still keeping the DTS in our prayers as they set off later this month.
Dance camps were AWESOME! So much hard work went into these camps by all of our staff, and they turned out great!
What's coming up?
Like I said before, this fall is going to be a little more relaxing. There is nothing going on the rest of this month except DTS classes for Jay ( which will only happen until they leave for outreach at the end of the month) There are no teams until the end of October, but by that time we will all be back in the states preparing for the newest little Fisher's arrival! My sister, Isaac and I will hit US soil on October 8th, and Jay will follow a week later on the 15th. The reason he is coming later is because he will be participating in another YWAM National Leadership Conference October 11th- 14th. We will be staying in Denver until the 18th, and then we will head down to Pueblo. We are planning on staying in the US until we have all the needed paperwork to travel with the new baby, so we don't have a departure date quite yet, but we are hoping to be back in Haiti by Christmas.
