Evie has an appointment tomorrow (11/09) at the Children's Hospital to try and determine the cause of the seizures. Right now we know that her seizures are under control with the medicine, but we don't know why they started in the first place. Be praying that we can find out for sure what is causing the seizures so that we have a solid plan going back to Haiti in a couple weeks.
Speaking of Evie, she knocked over a cup of coffee onto Kate's laptop a couple weeks. We thought we cleaned it up well enough, but some keys on the keyboard have started to stop working. Kate will be making due while we are here and then using an external keyboard that we have back home when we get back. Eventually we would like to replace the keyboard, but the keyboard can be a bit pricey and the repair is a more difficult one. Be praying we can spare the extra money and dedicated day required to replace it and that we don't end up with extra pieces at the end!
Haiti's presidential elections are set to take place on November 20. They were set to take place at the time that hurricane Matthew passed through, but that messed plans up. Presidential elections have generally been a time of unrest in Haiti. Please be praying things go smoothly this time.
We are set to fly back into Haiti on November 22nd. Please be praying again for Evie's appointment that we would have answers before we return to Haiti and that the elections in Haiti do not cause unrest at all but especially during that time.
